My usual practice has been to use colour, and by that I sometimes means as many different colours in one painting as I can. I have always loved playing with colour, but every now and then one needs to pause.
I am currently working with a new purchase of paints from Windsor and Newton . Im working monochrome, just to see what happens.
These put me in mind of cyanotype prints, although the plants aren’t representative of any real species.
